At Artemis we specialize in berries, especially darkly pigmented berries such as elderberry, aroniaberry (aka chokeberry), cranberry, and black currant – all high in anthocyanins and other phenolic compounds known to possess antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogenic and other beneficial health properties.  We are experts in all things berry and are well known in the industry as “The Berry People.”

It’s About Purple…and Green!

In addition to our passion for producing the highest quality dark berry extracts and spending our days surrounded by the color purple, Artemis International has embarked on a greening adventure – “Going Green.”

Artemis International has embraced a plan to be the greenest, most environmentally friendly nutraceutical company on the planet!  It first started with looking at a waste pail full of discarded faxes (faxes? what are those??) and we started making our own note pads in place of buying all those post-it pads!  Shredded faxes make great packing material too.  And it grew from there…

In 2010, we completed the implementation of a “being green” plan that included either recycling or re-purposing more than 90% of our office waste in addition to other green strategies including hosting our website on a 100% solar powered webhosting service. We will keep you updated on the greening of Artemis.
